Nioxin - Thinning Hair Systems

Nioxin Research Laboratories has a long history of science behind their line of hair care products. They came to us with the goal of creating a video that would appeal to their audience of stylists and salon owners. They wanted an image that not only reflected their high-end products, but also was trendy and visually exciting. They were in need of a professional video to help draw attention to their booth at trade shows, and to create an energetic and exciting environment in the lobby of their offices in Atlanta, Georgia.

Overview

We received 8 hours of film footage and hundreds of still photographs from a model shoot for Nioxin. Our first step was to carefully select a combination of imagery that would tell the story of Nioxin’s line of hair products in a brief one-minute timeframe. A rough-cut edit was combined with a selected music score that enriched their edgy brand. We then superimposed product photos with transitional effects, and created stylized copy segments with graphical treatments that added a stunning visual interest to their brand.

Results

We delivered a one-minute looping video that captures and demands viewer attention. It not only draws customers to their trade show booth in a highly competitive market, but also provides an energetic environment inside the Nioxin office space.

In an age when everyone has a smartphone and a need for instant gratification, brands must master short format storytelling in the form of video.
