Discovery & Ski-Doo

We designed and developed a fully custom microsite in the Exploration tab of Discovery Channel show page. It features a Ski-Doo pre-produced video series, Escape Mountain, that combines the fun and challenge of an escape room with the rugged, beautiful setting of deep snow mountain snowmobiling.

This custom microsite features 3 main title episodes, 3 behind-the-scenes videos, 5 rider profiles and a photo gallery. Our users are able to follow the exploits of five riders pushing the boundaries of adventure as they try to overcome Escape Mountain and the treacherous twists and turns the game brings.

Our Client's initial request was to only house 3 videos. We came up with much more interactive content to engage their viewers.

Microsite Ad Drivers

Users were driven to our custom microsite utilizing a 30-sec trailer for Escape Mountain running in mid-roll across the Discovery's TV Everywhere portfolio, a social trailer targeted to key Ski-Doo audiences from Discovery's Facebook, and this high-impact custom flex ad scaled across Discovery portfolio sites.

This flex ad targeted to desktop users features three 30-sec trailers of each Escape Mountain episode, and mobile users were teased with one 30-sec trailer from the first episode. The overall CTA was to drive users to our custom microsite to watch each of the three 15-min full-length episodes.
